Citrusˣ, a Tel Aviv, Israel-based provider of an end-to-end platform for AI transparency and explainability, raised $4.5M in Seed funding.

The round was led by Canadian VC Awz with participation from angel investors.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts.

Led by CEO Noa Srebnik, and Gilad Manor, CTO, Citrusx is an end-to-end platform for AI transparency and explainability, used by companies in regulated industries to get model validation, governance, and monitoring so all stakeholders can make better decisions about machine learning. The company’s patent-pending technology shows all elements and weak spots in a data space, identifies errors and vulnerabilities in an ML model, and highlights potential feature bias which leads to unexpected errors in the model.

CitrusX is already working with publicly listed companies in regulated industries such as finance and security.

The company is part of the first cohort of the Awz X-Seed Hub, a deep-tech, early-stage technology acceleration initiative.
